The Partners
John Lee
Co-founder
John found himself part of Silicon Valley in 1985, managing the world’s first desktop publishing storefront operation, Byting Your Time. He developed his engineering management and technology evangelism skills with companies such as Radius (the Pivot), CoSA (After Effects), CKS|Interactive, WebTV, Microsoft, and Cisco Systems. He brings his experiences both as a software engineer and as a technologist to focus at Folium Partners, where he is responsible for day-to-day business activities and product planning.
Steve Christensen
Co-founder
Steve invented many technologies for Apple Computer during his nearly 15 year career there, many of which fathered spin-offs still in common use today. Post-Apple, Steve worked with Verano, Cidco, Earthlink, and FileMaker before joining forces with GeeThree, where he created a series of multi-award-winning special effects software packages for video editing and titling. He is the engineering prowess behind Folium Partners, responsible for building and maintaining the integrity of our software and data services. His code is prominently featured in Folium enhancedAudio™, Folium enhancedVideo™, and our hybrid book+audiobook technology known as PiP™.
Wojciech Dzikowski
Software Engineer
Wojciech originated the codebase used for the Folium Book Studio, and he continues to work on extensions and improvements. He received his Masters of Computer Science from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.
