The Partners
John Lee
GM, COO, Product Development
John found himself part of Silicon Valley in 1985, managing the world’s first desktop publishing storefront operation, Byting Your Time. He developed his engineering management and technology evangelism skills with companies such as Radius (the Pivot), CoSA (After Effects), CKS|Interactive, WebTV, Microsoft, and Cisco Systems. He brings his experiences both as a software engineer and as a technologist to focus at Folium Partners, where he is responsible for day-to-day business activities and product planning.
Ben Bellinson
Marketing, Business Development
Ben brings a background rich in customer research, and is focused on major account management, business alliances, partnerships, and competitive positioning. Prior to Folium Partners, Ben held marketing, business development and relationship management positions at The Walt Disney Company, CareerPath.com, Lifetime Cablevision and The J. Paul Getty Trust. He’s an advisor to AdRevolution, an interactive behavioral targeting software firm in Austin, Texas and MarketShare Partners, an econometrics company in Los Angeles, California.
Steve Christensen
Chief Software Architect
Steve invented many technologies for Apple Computer during his nearly 15 year career there, many of which fathered spin-offs still in common use today. Post-Apple, Steve worked with Verano, Cidco, Earthlink, and FileMaker before joining forces with GeeThree, where he created a series of multi-award-winning special effects software packages for video editing and titling. He is the engineering prowess behind Folium Partners, responsible for building and maintaining the integrity of our software and data services.
Jay Tapp
Business Development, Strategy
Jay has held various senior executive positions focusing on B2B and B2C for Fortune 500 companies such as Viacom, United Artists and Charter Communications. At Folium Partners, he brings over 22 years of experience in sales/mar-com management, business strategy and operations. His responsibilities at Folium Partners include developing strategic relationships and new lines of business.
The Team
Kevin Jantzer is our Lead Web Developer, responsible for the design of both the outward-facing Folium Partners and Folium Book Studio sites, as well as the many database interfaces used by our apps and staff.
Emmett Framson is the App Production Supervisor, overseeing all aspects of supplementary content research done in-house, from collating data to building and uploading finished apps. He also is in charge of site security.
Wojciech Dzikowski is responsible for the hybrid book processing and formatting features found in the Folium Book Studio, in addition to being the first official employee of what we call ‘Folium Partners Poland’.
Christopher St. Louis fills a variety of roles, providing customer care, copywriting, data security research, and audio processing services in addition to app content research.
Noah Bacon worked with Nagisa on creating a cloud service to provide book data to mobile platforms and is now working on new features to expand app functionality.
Nagisa Day developed our cloud storage solution for use on the Windows Phone 7 platform with Noah, and is now developing enhanced functionality for the next wave of apps.
Mark Romero was responsible for porting the Folium enhancedAudio framework from iOS to Windows Phone 7, and is now working on expanding our assortment of authoring tools.
Danika Foit fills a wide range of roles, including product management, process coordination, and marketing research.
Kyle Pate is an Internet marketing strategist, responsible for promoting the company presence online through search engine optimization and other advertising methods.
